The Atlanta, GA - based consulting firm is headed by Ed Jones, a well-known and respected industry expert in the field of event strategy, measurement, and ROI. Ed has more than thirty-years experience in domestic and international events and is a well-known industry spokesperson. He speaks, teaches, and writes on event ROI, effective communications, and other current topics of interest to the events community. He authored and teaches “How to Measure the Value of Tradeshows,” a required course for Certified Trade Show Manager certification.
In an effort to stay abreast of new developments, Ed serves on the advisory boards of The Center for Information and Communication Sciences at Ball State University, the TSEA Education Committee, and the International Digital Media and Arts Association. He holds a BBA from Oglethorpe University (Marketing and Economics) and an MBA from the Stetson School of Business at Mercer University (Finance).
When I asked Ed how his membership in TSEA has benefited Constellation, he replied, “TSEA gave us a chance to collaborate with trade show managers in the United States and Mexico about linking trade shows to business results."
Ed Jones and Keith Reznick recently created two important training modules titled "The Trade Show Advantage™ Pre-Event Staff Orientation" and "The Trade Show Advantage™ Pre-Show Meeting Kit" which I reviewed in an article titled Should On-line Training Completely Replace a Pre-Show Briefing? in AboutFace, Volume 1, Number 10.
Ed is a faculty member for TSEA's 2010 Emerging Leaders Conference where he will be presenting on "Planning for Success," "Managing Executive Perceptions," and several case studies, including two with Keith Reznick and Linda Dagavarian as co-presenters.
