Course Proposal Application for Webinar Presentation
An Overview of TSEA Webinars
TSEA monthly webinars are a primary education resource for completing your CME and CME/H accreditation requirements. Our webinars are designed and planned to keep our members and non-members current on the most effective techniques used by many of the most successful trade show and exhibit thought leaders and managers. TSEA currently offers 24 webinars each year. Each webinar is scheduled at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on the date indicated on the invitation and lasts for one hour which includes Q & A.
TSEA's Webinar Faculty
Our webinar faculty is chosen by TSEA's Education Committee. Committee members either have direct knowledge of the proposed faculty member's qualifications as a major industry leader knowledgeable about the topic suggested and/or direct experience in attending other education programs presented by the proposed faculty member.
How Webinar Topics are Chosen
Guidelines for the topics necessary to achieve CME and CME/H certification are developed by TSEA' Education Committee. Industry leaders are encouraged to submit a Webinar Presentation Proposal Application which is reviewed and evaluated monthly by our Education Committee. Committee members also personally contact industry leaders to present on specific topics necessary to complete CME and CME/H certification.
CME and CME/H Credits
One tenth of one CEU (Continuing Education Unit) of CME or CME/H credit is provided to each registrant who attends the webinar and who takes the post-webinar test and evaluation. CME and CME/H registrants will have seven days to complete and return the post-webinar examination and evaluation to receive their applicable credit, providing that the registrant receives a successful score of 80% or better on the examination.
Webinar Accreditation Records
Approximately one week after submitting a post-webinar examination and evaluation, webinar registrants will receive a copy of his/her current CME or CME/H total certification credits. This report lists credits earned for each education program including the webinar last attended.
How Webinars are Promoted
Approximately one week before a scheduled webinar, TSEA members and others who have requested to be on TSEA’s webinar notification list will receive an electronic invitation to register for the webinar through our Cvent affiliate. Cvent’s invitation includes instructions on how to register and pay for attending an upcoming webinar.
TSEA also promotes its webinars on Twitter and LinkedIn.
Registration for webinars closes 48 hour before the scheduled webinar. After the registration closes, registrants will be sent the access information for their webinar. Registrants will be asked to confirm that they have received their access information for the webinar for which they have registered. .
Individuals or groups who have prepaid for their webinars at a discounted rate are sent special instructions for registering directly with TSEA and not through Cvent. If you have any question about registering for prepaid webinars, contact Gordon Nary at 312-949-5794 or via email to gnary@tsea.org.
If you do not receive our electronic webinar invitations and want to be included on our webinar mailing list, please register in the upper right corner of this webpage above the request “I would like to receive webinar evites.”
