New England Chapter Members' Mini-Profiles

Susanne Skinner has been a member of TSEA since 2009 and currently chairs the New England Council with Vice Chair, Tony Godfrey.  In the constantly changing world of event marketing, Susanne and the NE chapter team are committed to promoting education and networking within the industry.

Professionally Susanne is a senior events marketing manager with a passion for an industry and craft that is never static and challenges all of us to elevate our game.  Her background is concentrated in international marketing.  Susanne enjoys the global aspects of her position at Sonus Networks where she is currently working on their worldwide leadership conference.  She recently hosted a college marketing class and stepped them through a real time product launch.  Learn more about Susanne by visiting her LinkedInProfile.

Ellie Cook-Venezia has been a member of TSEA since June of 2009.  She has been seated on the TSEA New England Chapter Council since 2009 and is currently their Communications Chair.  She developed (as Editor / master-blaster) their newsletter known as e-New England: TSEA New England Chapter News.  Ellie tweets sharing the TSEA messages.  She is also known to promote TSEA and TSEA NE on LinkedIn.

Chris Stratford has been a member of TSEA since 1984.  She currently is a member of the TSEA New England Chapter Advisory Board.  Prior to this she was seated as Co-Chair | Communications on the TSEANE Council.  Chris was instrumental in pulling resources together in June of 2009 to reassemble and revitalize the TSEA New England chapter.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  She is a senior sales and business development executive with over 20 years experience.  Bringing a calming demeanor coupled with a vast industry knowledge base to any project she is involved with, Chris thrives on her vendor/partner relationships. Margo Romanowski has been involved with TSEA since March of 2009 when she was approached to assist in restarting the TSEA New England chapter.  Since June of 2009 she has been involved as Chair of Chapter Records as well as working extensively on communications.  Margo maintains the list of opt-in members of the chapter, as well as a list of members that wish to be “in the know” about the group’s activities.  She recently began using an email marketing client in order to more efficiently and effectively manage chapter data and opt-ins.

Professionally, Margo is a database marketing professional specializing in analysis of data gathered at trade shows and utilizing the data to better target and market to organizations.  Through Mintaka Consulting she assists in interpretation of received data and how the organization is currently putting it to use.  Her motto is, “Don’t sabotage yourself!”  Margo is currently on contract at Puma’s International marketing office in Boston.  Get to know her more at her public LinkedIn profile.

Michael Dunne has been involved with TSEA since the mid-80’s.  He is currently a member of the TSEA New England Chapter Advisory Board.  From 2007 – 2010,  Michael was Chair of the National Capital Chapter.  He was also instrumental in reviving the chapter and now sits on the board in an advisory role.

Professionally Michael is Co-Owner of Acer Exhibits, a full service exhibit agency based in the mid-Atlantic region with offices in Massachusetts and Las Vegas.  Michael began his career in the exhibit industry while attending college in Boston and has worked for several New England-based houses over the last 28 years during which he has garnered a reputation as a hardworking and dedicated solution provider for his clients.  Be sure to view his public LinkedIn Profile.
