Anna C. Laws, CME, is responsible for Trade Show/Event Planning and Production at Eastman Chemical Company where she has been employed for over 27 years. Eastman Chemical Company, a global company headquartered in Kingsport, TN, produces chemicals, fibers, and plastics that are used as key ingredients in products that people use every day. Eastman employees around the world blend technical expertise and innovation to deliver practical solutions. The company is committed to finding sustainable business opportunities within the diverse markets it serves.

Outside of her responsibilities with Eastman Chemical Company, she has also served on the board for American Advertising Federation of Northeast Tennessee as Chair of Events and Secretary.

Anna was previously employed as a case worker with the Congressional Office on Capitol Hill for Congressman James H. Quillen, where she was responsible for reading letters addressed to the Congressman, preparing replies to be approved by the Congressman, as well as working daily over the phone and face-to-face with constituents.

Anna has been a member of TSEA since 2003 and received her CME in October 2007. When I asked her about how her CME certification has impacted her career, she replied, "CME certification has helped recognize me as an expert in the trade show field internally and externally. I would highly recommend pursuing CME certification and membership in TSEA because of the networking opportunities, the mentoring, the continuing education, and the resources available through TSEA.  You are never too old to learn something new and TSEA is the place to learn and grow."
