The New TSEA e-Learning Center Sponsored by BPA Worldwide

In March, 2010, almost a year ago, TSEA introduced our new slogan, You Talk. TSEA Listens. Together We Act. To the staff, the TSEA Board of Directors, the committee members, all the people who volunteer their time to help make this association your association, these are more than just words on our exhibit and our t-shirts.  We take the message to heart and try to do everything we can so you get the most out of your membership.

The Education Committee did a survey to find out what you wanted from us.  You told us time was a big issue when it came to attending live webinars.  Of course it was.  After all, our jobs mean travel (not the fun kind), long hours, weekends away from home and, as we all know, we see airports, hotels and convention centers.  Friends and colleagues ask if we had a good time in (insert your favorite city here – Orlando, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta – wherever) and we give them a blank stare.  It was business, we patiently explain.  Then the next time we’re with fellow exhibit managers, we regale each other with stories: “You won’t believe what my sister said.  She asked why I didn’t go shopping for clothes when I was in Paris?”  “Well, you see, the Paris Airshow was rather busy…”  Or…”Couldn’t you have gone to Epcot Center for a few hours when you were in Orlando?”  Yeah, right. 

So this is a very long-winded way of announcing (Ta-Da, drum roll please) TSEA’s new e-Learning Center sponsored by BPA Worldwide.  It’s official.  Now, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no matter what time zone you’re in, you can access, listen to, attend, all the classes you want.   

As a special introductory offer, TSEA is sending each member special access codes (called coupon codes) for two downloads at just $10 each.  You may use these between January 15, 2011 and March 2, 2011.   

We’ll be adding webinars constantly.  Two weeks after each live presentation, and we  will have 24 scheduled for 2011, you can access it through the TSEA e-Learning Center.  So check back regularly to see what’s available.  If there’s ever a class you’d like us to present, contact me (mbweisgal@tsea.org) or Gordon Nary (gnary@tsea.org) and we’ll do our best to add it to the list.
