I recently had the opportunity to talk with Jen Anderton of Nuvista, a member of TSEA’s Membership and Chapter committee, and learn more about the organization Nuvista. “Nuvista is a woman-owned company based in Dallas, Texas,” Jen explained. It is a busy place to work,  as Jen said, “We service clients at over 1,000 events and trade shows across the country each year with more than 30 full-time and 200 part-time, enthusiastic, service-oriented, and experienced team members dedicated to your success.”

Interested in seeing Nuvista’s customer-focus in action? Nuvista is going to be at  Exhibitor2011 from March 27-31, 2011.Their booth 851 is on “$aving our customers’ money by avoiding hidden costs.”  If you don't have the opportunity to see them in Las Vegas, here is a link to a great video of their Exhibit Management Services: http://www.nuvistaonline.com/event_management.htm.

Jen told me Nuvista started out in 2000 with high aspirations, “Nuvista Event Services was created as an alternative to the status-quo in the trade show and event industry.” Nuvista founders knew that they would be successful if they focused on their values, “Our founding principles ensure that we are a customer-focused, service-driven provider of event services.”

Nuvista's vision has been realized, earning rave reviews from their clients like Kara Gardner of Hawker-Beechcraft who wrote about working with Nuvista, “I personally appreciate your management style and am confident that you and I will have lots more success! It was a treat working with everyone.”

I asked Jen what kind of services Nuvista provides to their customers, she responded, “we are a national independent contractor providing:

  • Installation and Dismantle Services.
  • Audio-Visual Rentals and Technical Support.
  • Project Management.
  • Event management.”

In each area that Nuvista is focused on, they strive to provide “the highest level of expertise available in the industry,” Jen emphasized. I asked Jen what the Nuvista’s goal is with each of their services. “To enable our customers to successfully achieve their objective,” she explained. What motivated Nuvista to be so customer focused? “We not only have the ability, but the desire," Jen explained.

Nuvista has the customer’s needs in mind when providing any one of their services. As Jen told me, Nuvista understands the importance of relationship building, “Our continued success is based on the significance of long-term relationships, and we understand your satisfaction is the basis for that growth.” How does Nuvista build strong relationships with clients? “We understand that your future is dependent on the caliber of your exhibit at its opening,” Jen continued, “and as how well your exhibit showcases your product during the event and the seamlessness of the exhibit process.”

Nuvista is a member of many organizations including TSEA, WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council), EACA, HCEA, EIC, and supports EDPA. Jen emphasized that, “Nuvista and its employees believe in involvement and support of the trade show and event industry to ensure a better and fair working environment for all.”

Nuvista has been a member of TSEA since 2009 and has come to cherish their membership for the opportunities it provides their employees, according to Jen, “Nuvista’s membership has allowed access to another level of education, advocacy, and networking.” “Nuvista believes that TSEA is one of the leading advocates in fair business practices within our industry.” Then she told me that, “Nuvista’s initiative is to provide support to these associations working so diligently to assist third parties and exhibitors in the trade show and event industry.”

Jen left me with a great quote that I will surely look back to for inspiration, “At Nuvista, we are measured not by the results of our accomplishments, but by our innovative solutions to your challenges.”
