THE NEW TS2—A RESOUNDING SUCCESS
A re-vamped conference program, a freshly designed exhibit hall featuring many new exhibitors, new alliances and an all new marketing campaign attracted 2,410 attendees to TS2 last month in Washington, DC. The new TS2, in its inaugural year under the ownership of National Trade Productions (NTP), exceeded all attendance goals, with a 17% increase in total verified conference and exposition attendees. Of the total number of attendees, more than 43% were first-timers, indicating a broadened attendee base for the show. To learn more, click here.

PLANS FOR INDUSTRY-WIDE RFI GUIDELINES ANNOUNCED
The Trade Show Exhibitors Association and the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association have teamed up to launch an industry-wide RFI (Request for Information) initiative — a set of guidelines and best practices to help make the RFI process more consistent and effective. The task force plans to release a completed set of guidelines in spring of 2006. DUDEK TAKES OFFICE AS TSEA CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Andrew Dudek, CME, CMP was elected Chairman of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association’s Board of Directors in April 2005. He is the Trade Show Manager for Telcordia Technologies in Piscataway, NJ and brings 15+ years of trade show and event experience to the table. TSEA ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR 2006 FOCUS™ AWARD COMPETITION
