THE TRADE SHOW EXHIBITORS ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES SALE OF TS2 TO NATIONAL TRADE PRODUCTIONS

THE NEW TS2—A RESOUNDING SUCCESS
Chicago, Illinois, July 20, 2005 –A re-vamped conference program, a freshly designed exhibit hall featuring many new exhibitors, new alliances and an all new marketing campaign attracted 2,410 attendees to TS2 last week in Washington, DC. The new TS2, in its inaugural year under the ownership of National Trade Productions (NTP), exceeded all attendance goals, with a 17% increase in total verified conference and exposition attendees. Of the total number of attendees, more than 43% were first-timers, indicating a broadened attendee base for the show. Even more important, the quality of attendee was clearly higher with an 82% increase in conference attendance.

“This was the best TS2 in a long time,” said Andrew Dudek, CMP, CME, Chairman of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). “Everyone is excited about the new energy and the results. The new partnership with NTP is off to a fantastic start and we can’t wait until next year,” added Dudek.

The TS2 conference, which was developed by TSEA, featured three new tracks, an infusion of new speakers, and the addition of new learning methodologies. The program included case studies, interactive workshops, and peer-to-peer discussion groups.

“It was my first time attending the conference, and I am pleased to say it won't be my last,” said Terri Shaw, Marketing Coordinator, Sensis Corporation. “From the knowledgeable and approachable mentors, to the diverse, well-versed speakers, I left there with more than I expected to receive. And even though a price was put on the conference (which was well spent) the networking was priceless! Speaking with other exhibit and event professionals was an education all its own. My TS² experience truly exceeded my expectations. See ya in Chicago!”

TS2 2006 will be held July 25-27 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL. TS2 is sponsored by the Trade Show Exhibitors Associations (TSEA) and owned and produced by National Trade Productions (NTP), a leader in the production, management, and marketing of trade expositions, conferences and special events and For more information about attending or exhibiting, please contact NTP at 703-683-8500, or visit the TS2 web site, www.tsea.org/ts2.
