TS² and BDMetrics Announce Alliance
TS² 2007 to Focus on How the Internet is Revolutionizing the Trade Show Experience

TS² 2007 – THE Industry Event for Exhibit and Event Professionals and BDMetrics, the award-winning attendee relationship management company, announced today a collaboration to help drive the convergence of internet and face-to-face marketing into the next generation of exhibits and events.

“We are extremely excited about this alliance and what it means for not only the future of TS², but also the future of trade shows as a business model,” said Kellie Shevlin, TS² Sales & Industry Relations Manager. “With the recent and continual advances in web technology, trade shows and other live events have been transformed from a few-day opportunity into a year round event. Together with BDMetrics, we look forward to ushering in this new era of live marketing for the entire industry.”

As part of their partnership, BDMetrics will launch the MyTS² search engine connecting TS² attendees with exhibitors, the conference and each other. When attendees register for TS², they are invited to activate MyTS², where they will gain access to the entire TS² community. This portal enables attendees to securely and anonymously search for products, vendors and conference sessions; set up meetings and efficiently plan their time at the show. It also enables registrants to connect with other attendees, like themselves, to share ideas and network.

“Not only does the MyTS² feature allow attendees to plan their show experience before the event begins,” said Shevlin, “but it also enhances exhibitors’ pre-show exposure and increases the number of qualified leads driven directly to their booths onsite.”

BDMetrics will also participate in the TS² conference with the following two sessions on how to measure exhibitor ROI with new analytics and how this new data empowers exhibitors:

SPM-70: The ROI Questions You Need to Answer BEFORE Your Next Show
Tuesday, July 31, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

SPM-71: How Do you Measure and Report ROI AFTER the Show?
Wednesday, August 1, 9:45 am – 11:00 am

In addition to these sessions, BDMetrics will co-locate its End User Summer Conference with TS². The conference will focus on how the convergence of trade shows and on-line media are transforming the exhibitor experience, creating new event anchored sales and marketing opportunities never before possible.

“The events world is discovering and embracing extraordinary new opportunities as we experience the powerful fusion of the internet and the face-to-face business model”, commented Jack Chalden, BDMetrics Vice President of Industry Relations and a veteran trade show producer for nearly 40 years. “And that is precisely why we welcome this opportunity to collaborate with TS². Helping to arm exhibit managers with insights into these rapidly evolving event dynamics will not only empower them to meet and exceed their event objectives, but it will illuminate other sales and marketing opportunities of critical importance to their organizations.”

TS², sponsored by the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), is taking place July 30 – August 2, 2007 at the Washington, DC Convention Center. This event has long been recognized for delivering a quality and scope of exhibitor education that gives its attendees the tools to significantly improve their performance as exhibitors.
