Chicago, Ill., October 9, 2007 – The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) has awarded four Certified Manager of Exhibits™ (CME®) designations. TSEA’s CME® program is the only association-sponsored certification program that recognizes professionalism in exhibit management and marketing.
Madelyn Cancel has more than 13 years of trade show marketing experience. Her education includes programs with Exhibitor Show, which is in conjunction with San Francisco University. She is currently a business law student at Strayer University, and is taking educational classes on trade show management and marketing through TSEA.
Cancel is also very active with other trade show associations, including membership in: Meeting Planners International, Potomac Chapter of Meeting Planners International, Georgia Chapter of Meeting Planners International, Religious Conference Meeting Association, The Exhibitor Show, and Association of Meeting Professionals. In addition to authoring numerous published articles, Cancel is also the Director of Meeting & Events for Intergraph Corporation; there, she oversees the trade show and user conferences/meetings for global marketing.
Eileen Devine is the Senior Exhibit Planner for Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics (formerly Bayer HealthCare), and has impacted their corporate trade show program with her unique style for more than 10 years. Although her primary focus and area of expertise is on the planning and development of domestic tradeshows, her experience includes international meetings and trade shows, as well as programs such as corporate National Sales Meetings, Customer Symposia and Incentive Programs. Devine has a diverse professional background that includes several years as an award-winning television and radio producer at prominent New York City advertising agencies.
Teri Nobbe has more than 18 years of experience as a Trade Show Manager at Hill-Rom, a leading worldwide manufacturer and provider of medical technologies and related services for the health care industry, located in Batesville, Ind. Her education includes programming through Exhibitor Show, in conjunction with Northern Illinois University. She has been active with TSEA since 2001.
Nobbe is also a member of Healthcare Exhibitors Association and TSEA’s Windy City Chapter, as well as the The Exhibitor Show. She serves on various healthcare associations, including: Exhibitor Advisory Council, Emergency Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
Kerry Talbot is tasked with increasing leads and brand exposure for Monster.com through creative marketing and strategic planning at events in the United States and internationally. She is also responsible for managing internal and external teams who handle trade show and event logistics. She is a thought leader on event marketing and has won awards from her programs.
