The members of TSEA in the Chicagoland area had the opportunity to vote for the proposed slate of officers for the 2008 Operating Council online for the first time! Typically, the vote is held at the last chapter meeting of the year. However, in 2007 the meeting was a social event, which did not provide the opportunity to poll the attendees at the time.
TSEA President Steve Schuldenfrei offered to hold the election online and permit the members to vote for, or write in, a slate of officers to operate the chapter for the 2008 year. The slate includes four existing members of the group, Ann Pennino, CME®, of Praxair, Inc., Karen Jensen of Leggett & Platt, David Harman of Champion Logistics Group, and Michael R. Seymour, CME®, of 3D Exhibits, Inc. The group welcomed new addition Teri Nobbe, CME/H®, of Hill-Rom.
As of Friday, February 15, 97 percent of the votes cast elected this group for 2008. We thank you for voting and for continuing to support The Windy City Chapter (WCC)! The WCC Operating Council manages the day-to-day operations of the chapter, with a focus on enhancing the membership of TSEA and providing quality education at the local level. The council welcomes suggestions, feedback, or comments to any of the council members.
