Sit Back, Relax, and Learn: My Initial Experience with the TSEA e-Learning Center
In these tough economic times, it is becoming more and more difficult for some companies to spend dollars on professional development. Like many other exhibit managers, I am in that same boat. I thirst for knowledge and want to be able to stay abreast of current trends and learn new things. That is why I have embraced the TSEA e-Learning Center. This allows me to get the information I need and want so that I can help my company continue to grow.
I recently viewed “How to Successfully Exhibit Outside of the U.S.” presented by Noel Hoekstra. In the first three minutes I had my little steno pad so full of information that I had to reach for my larger notebook. This webinar is a must for anyone who has little or no experience in international exhibiting. Noel walks you through the process, presents excellent tips and do's and don’ts. This was well worth the time. I plan on listening to this one again just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I know feel a little more secure in diving into international exhibits.
I complemented the webinar above with “One Size Does Not Fit All” presented by Ryan Klemm. This session concentrated more on Germany, Brazil, and Singapore which is what I was looking for. Ryan provided great detail on shipping, customs, space location, where to stay, and transportation for these three locations. The information was clear and concise and again, I walked away with the knowledge I was looking for.
I highly recommend taking a few moments to visit the TSEA e-Learning Center to view their impressive list of webinar recordings. You won’t be disappointed. I know that I will continue to make the TSEA e-Learning Center one of my primary learning resources.
