TS2 2011

 

National Trade Productions (NTP), the producer/owner of TS2, has officially canceled TS2 2011 and hopes to resume the event in 2012.

The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) affirms it will continue to offer and deliver our current roster of educational conferences and opportunities as well as scheduling our Face-to-Face Connections, TSEA’s hosted buyer event, over the next twelve months and beyond in various parts of the country. We will be expanding the number and type of programs to provide our members and the exhibiting community with quality education and events.

TSEA has held its annual meeting in conjunction with TS2 since its purchase in 2004 by NTP. Specific dates for TSEA’s annual meeting will be announced in January 2011.

TSEA will also offer regional programming, conferences and, of course, the Red Diamond Congress in the coming year.

TS² Continues to Evolve Through 2012

TS² 2011 Postponed
 
Alexandria, VA, November 30, 2010 – In July of this year, TS², the Trade Show about Trade Shows, initiated a comprehensive review and study of all aspects regarding TS² and the industry it serves. This effort has continued throughout the following months and it has become apparent that both exhibitors and attendees are looking for new and innovative solutions to bring the community together. This comprehensive review has led to the decision to create new focused events for the industry to better reflect the needs of our exhibitors and attendees.
 
Subsequently, the TS² conference and exposition will not be held in 2011 and is postponed until 2012. This action allows National Trade Productions, Inc. (NTP), owner and producer of TS², to focus on new strategies that will bring meaningful interaction between the suppliers and TS² attendees that make up this vibrant community of exhibitor and event marketers.
“As TS² evolves over the next year, we will continue to serve the trade show industry with the same dedication TS² has exemplified over the past 37 years,” said Christopher Harar, TS² Show Director. “This is a new beginning for TS² and its supporters. We are excited about the future events that are now under development.”

TS² Participants Design 2011 Event
Alexandria, VA, September 1, 2010 – National Trade Productions, Inc. (NTP), owner and producer of TS² announced today that TS² 2011 will take place in Philadelphia, June 7-9, 2011.
“We are pleased to be returning to Philadelphia,” said Christopher Harar, TS² Show Director. “We had a great show there in 2008 and, based on the feedback from exhibit managers and suppliers throughout the industry, we look forward to capitalizing on the convenience of the Northeast location for another phenomenal event.”
In addition to the dates and location, NTP is announcing several key findings from its “Help Us Build Your TS² 2011” campaign, launched during TS² 2010 in Boston that will be the foundation for new initiatives emerging in 2011.
While corporate events remain a part of the TS² attendee’s job responsibility, NTP found that in fact, the vast majority of its core audience is responsible for trade shows and marketing. NTP also learned that its audience is extremely sophisticated, having an average of 9.5 years of experience in the industry and a net buying influence of 97%.
As a result of these findings, TS² will enhance the focus of the 2011 education program to be reflective of the experienced exhibitor with responsibility for trade shows and marketing and real purchasing power.
“While the survey results presented clarity and new ideas for TS² to further enhance its relevancy to the exhibitor, it also confirmed many of the opportunities of TS² that we have always believed in,” added Harar. “We always knew TS² had a unique audience and in fact, 6 out of every 10 TS² attendees are not going to any other industry event. Additionally, they are true buyers looking for education, products, services and solutions. This is extremely important.”
TS² will also look to build attendance through focus on specific communities of exhibitors, by identifying industries with large numbers of exhibiting companies who would benefit from an annual community educational meeting opportunity.
Additionally, TS² 2011 will continue to focus on technology integration into the event as a direct result of the success experienced in the 2010 IN Zone with multiple interactive opportunities, specifically the live-streaming “Continuing the Conversation” interviews with industry experts.
“We look forward to the implementation of these new initiatives to enhance the experience of the event for everyone involved, as well as make it easier for exhibitors and event marketers to be involved,” added Harar.
