Bio
Leanne Dagavarian is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Senior Trade Show and Special Events Manager at Hologic, Inc. in Bedford, MA. Hologic develops, manufactures, and distributes medical imaging systems, and diagnostic and surgical products for serving the healthcare needs of women. Leanne has over 15 years experience managing small and large trade show exhibits and events for 1000+ people. In her current position she manages 60+ shows per year for the Breast Health division of Hologic in addition to managing a team of four exhibit and event professionals. She is responsible for managing Hologic’s participation at the largest medical trade show in the US, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Hologic’s exhibit is 13,000 square feet and, for several years running, they have been in the top ten largest exhibits at the conference.

In order to create the type of experience you want your attendees to have you must first figure out what type of event you’re planning and establish goals and objectives.  This is sometimes easier said than done as a planner and the return on investment is not always easy to measure.

We’ll take a look at different types of events and tradeshows and discuss what is involved in each one and how we can utilize best practices to make each one a success.
